We laser engrave a name, initials or a date on the rosewood handle or on the Damascus head, done to order in our Mesa, AZ workshop with no minimums. On the handle it's burned into the wood, and on the head it's marked into the steel with our fiber laser, so it won't peel or fade.

Hand-forged Damascus, American made

The head is hand-forged in America from layered 1095 and 15N20 high-carbon steel. The layers fold into a flowing pattern, so no two hatchets look the same.

Care

High-carbon steel can rust. Wipe the head dry after use, give it a light coat of oil now and then, and don't store it in the leather cover while it's wet.
